Japanese manicure in Rabat: natural nail shine (the P.Shine method)

Naturally glossy, stronger nails without a single drop of polish: here's what the Japanese manicure (P.Shine) is, and why Rabat loves it.

Dreaming of nails that shine as if they were polished… but without polish? That’s exactly what the Japanese manicure offers — a treatment from Japan focused on the health and natural shine of the nail. Increasingly popular in Rabat, here’s everything you need to know.

What is a Japanese manicure?

The Japanese manicure (often called the P.Shine method) is a natural nail treatment, not an application. After careful cuticle work, we apply two products of natural origin:

  • a paste rich in keratin, beeswax and vitamins that nourishes the nail;
  • a mineral powder (silica and mother-of-pearl based) that we buff at length with a chamois-leather buffer.

The result: the nail surface is polished like a mirror, with a healthy, rosy and completely natural shine — without any polish or resin.

The benefits for your nails

  • Natural shine that lasts 2 to 3 weeks, and resists water.
  • Strengthens and nourishes the nail deeply thanks to keratin.
  • Stimulates regrowth and microcirculation (buffing massages the nail).
  • Zero chemicals, zero drying time, zero acetone.
  • Ideal to repair weakened nails after gel or gel polish.

Who is it for?

  • Anyone who wants naturally groomed nails, with no colour.
  • Soft, peeling or brittle nails that need a cure.
  • Brides-to-be looking for quiet, natural elegance.
  • Those who can’t wear polish (profession, allergy, personal reasons).
  • And yes, men too: it’s our most requested hand treatment for men.

How the session works at OLM Beauty

  1. Nail shaping and cuticle care.
  2. Application of the nourishing paste.
  3. Buffing with the mineral powder — the “magic” step that reveals the shine.
  4. Hand massage.

Allow about 45 minutes, and you leave with hands ready immediately: no drying time.

Japanese manicure or gel polish?

  • You want colour and 3 to 4 weeks of wear → gel polish.
  • You want a natural look, shine and to strengthen the nail → the Japanese manicure.

Many of our clients alternate between the two: gel polish when they want colour, Japanese manicure as a “cure” to let the nail breathe and recover.

Wear, care and price in Rabat

The shine lasts 2 to 3 weeks. To extend it: moisturise your cuticles and wear gloves for household products.
